"Being where the client is at is extremely important in therapy because this is their process and experience,"

I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and their families and supporting them as they come to understand themselves and each other better. You can learn to be true to yourself, while also deciding how you will navigate your spiritual and religious beliefs. We can explore this complex intersection and you can decide what values and goals you want to work towards.
What matters to me is where you are and where you want to go. Together we can decide what therapy would be most helpful for your progress: behavioral therapy, emotional regulation, mindfulness, or EMDR (for help with processing trauma). You can always let me know what is working for you, and what is not working for you.
I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Utah. I am a trauma-informed therapist and am working on my EMDR certification (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy speaking Spanish with my clients.
